In life, there are days and moments where everything we do does not feel enough, or face situations that are beyond our control. A common response to such instances is to doubt ourselves and our abilities, and that is a very normal and human thing to do. But the effect of self-doubt can cut both ways: It can either spur us to achieve our goals and thereby boost our confidence levels, or cause us to feel entirely powerless and paralysed. You will be able to work on eliminating the blocks that are keeping you from moving through life with assuredness. Here are some of the culprits for the patterns of self doubt and ideas for what you can do about them.

While some need mindset adjustments, others need a confidence boost or a little reassurance that they are on the right track. Take small steps, follow and when doubt starts to creep in, remind yourself that money is only a tool and you are learning.

Siew Mee, Nurse

Working with Gary has been a great experience. He explains policies really well, making them easy to understand. His advice is always based on my needs, and he listens carefully to what I need. Unlike other agents, Gary follows up regularly to make sure my plans are on track and checks if anything has changed in my life. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and never feels ‘salesy’—just someone who truly wants to help. I highly recommend Gary to anyone looking for a reliable wealth manager!

Winson, Data Analyst

I have always been skeptical towards insurance agents, but Gary has changed my mind. He never pressured me or tried to upsell products I didn’t need. This was evident when he patiently waited for more than a year until I felt financially ready to commit for an insurance plan. Additionally, he only recommended products that were necessary for me. Throughout the process, Gary was also very patient in explaining the details and clarifying any questions I had. All in all, I gained trust towards Gary along the process and am glad to have chosen him as my agent.

Alvin, Banker

Gary is a professional and knowledgeable financial consultant. Unlike a typical consultant, he is able to provide insightful information not limited to insurance products. Highly recommended to anyone who's interested in insurance and financial products!

Louise, Tax Accountant

Gary is professional, upfront and a pleasure to work with, especially in situations whenever I have any questions in doubt or need to update a policy. He is also helpful, patience and responsive in times of an urgent request. He would share his knowledge on insurance and will actively source for a suitable insurance coverage that suit your needs. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family who needs any financial advice/services.

Wee Tat Yong, Retiree

I was referred to Gary through a friend and since then, he has been my go-to person for my policy matters. One of the things I appreciate about working with Gary is his attention to detail when making recommendations. He takes the time to explain the nuances of the policy and how it will affect me in the long run. He also keeps me up-to-date on recent happenings and news that may impact my policy, which is very valuable to me as a busy person. What sets Gary apart from others is his friendly and approachable nature. He is never pushy and always takes the time to answer my questions, no matter how trivial they may seem. This makes me feel comfortable and confident in his ability to manage my policy needs. Overall, I recommend Gary for anyone looking for an advisor who is easy to work with, detailed in his recommendations, and keeps you informed on the latest news.

Never regretted my decision to meet with Gary. I first heard of him from a friend recommendation. At first I was sceptical, but after meeting him and listening to him explaining in details about our needs and what he can offer, truly a good experience.
